Can you believe that despite living in Dallas for decades, I’d never been on SMU’s campus? Thank goodness the lovely Leland invited us to capture her graduation portraits at the historic campus! You’ll notice we don’t have the regular cap and gown photos for Leland. But that’s because she booked us after she had returned her graduation regalia to the rental company! Don’t stress if that happens to you: you can still celebrate your graduation with lovely portraits at a significant location.
Leland was a brilliant subject, as she was willing to try any and all poses. She even took us on a mini tour of the campus so that we could capture her in front of various fountains and in the main drag. One reason we love photographing seniors is that we can ask them about their favorite memories. Leland loved the SMU tradition of tailgating on the lawn before football games and now, we can’t wait to capture photos at those fun events!
